Performing waajibut tawaaf out of the haram or in one’s home country

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q:

1. Can one pray two rakaats of wajibul Tawaf between Maghrib Azan and namaz?

2. Can these two rakaats after Tawaf be prayed outside the Haram Shareef? If it can be, is there any distance we can pray within?

Bismillaah

A:

1. Yes, provided one is sure that one will get the fard from the beginning.

2. It is better to perform the two rakaats waajibut tawaaf in the musjid, however, if it is performed outside the musjid, it will be permissible. If one forgets to perform the two rakaats waajibut tawaaf and returns to his home town, he should perform the two rakaats in his home town. However, it is makrooh to perform these two rakaats out of the precincts of the haram.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
