Praying only in front of people to avoid being mocked at

Q: If someone doesn’t usually pray and just prays in front of people because if he doesn’t people will mock him, is it major shirk?

Bismillaah

A: This is ignorance and stupidity. Not to be concerned of Allah Ta`ala and to be overwhelmed with people, isn’t this illogical.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
