Relative giving gifts purchased with interest money

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: My husband’s aunty always brings random stuff into our house. But my sister in law said that she spends on those things is riba or interest she gets from the bank.

My question is, are those things haram for us? Or should we consider it just as a gift.

Bismillaah

A: You should find out from the aunty as to what money she is using. If she is using riba then you should not use it.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
