Ramadan: Gargling and Sniffing Water – To Do or Not To Do?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: In the state of Ramadan should I avoid gargle and sniff water in to the nose in major impurity?

Bismillaah

A: You should gargle and see that the water does not go beyond the throat or above the hard bone of the nose.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
