Purchasing from a dishonest shopkeeper

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: If a man has a shop and he is not an honest man, he is a corrupt man, so can I buy anything from his shop?

Bismillaah

A: If there is circumstantial evidence that he is corrupt or engaged in stealing and theft and stolen goods then you should not buy from such a person.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
