How many times should an Aalim explain something to a person?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: If someone asks an Aalim any explanation regarding any Islamic issue and the person does not understand, how many times should the Aalim explain the issue? Should he explain it until the person understands it well?

Bismillaah

A: We have not come across this anywhere. However, he is under obligation to go on trying until he understands it. The aalim will fulfil his obligation by writing the article and passing it on to him. Thereafter it is his obligation to try and understand it correctly.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
