Seeing blood on one’s towel after having a bath and thereafter performing salaah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Zaid took a bath. When wiping the body with a towel, he saw blood marks on the towel. The blood was fresh. He was certain that the blood was from his body but the place where the blood was coming out from couldn’t be found anywhere on the body. He wasn’t sure if the blood was flowing or not, he then prayed Salah without doing fresh wudhu, is the salah valid? Did he do the right thing? If the prayed Salah isn’t valid does it have to be repeated?

Bismillaah

A: Yes, it is valid.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
