Husband saying ‘you are divorcee’ while alone

Q: Does saying ‘you are divorcee’ while alone, constitute talaq.

Bismillaah

A: If one intended talaaq to one’s wife with these words, talaaq will take place even though there were no witnesses present.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
