Woman reprimanding boys for staring at her in a restaurant

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I was at a restaurant with my brother and two boys were staring at us. While leaving, I went to them and told them to feel ashamed as they are staring like this. Did I commit a sin? What should I have done? How can I ask for forgiveness from Allah?

Bismillaah

A: It is shameful of you as well to be hanging around in the restaurant. Your place should be the home. Had you eaten at home you would not have given the boys the opportunity to stare at you.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
