Q: I have been blessed with a baby boy. I want to name him Muhammad Arham Hussain. Is it permissible to name Arham because its meaning is merciful?

Bismillaah

A: Arham is mostly used for Allah Ta`ala.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
