Masah over a plastic bag on the head

Q: If someone applies henna on the head and then covers the head with a polythene bag, will it be permissible to do masah on the head during wudhu?

Bismillaah

A: The masah will be invalid if it is done over the plastic. It has to be done on the hair.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
