Will wudhu break if water comes out of the eyes due to an infection?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Does ablution (wudhu) break when water comes out of the eyes due to an infection?

Bismillaah

A: If there is pain in the eye which is caused by an infection, and thereafter water comes out of the eye, then in this case the water will be napaak and the wudhu will break through it coming out.
