Giving a kaafir zam zam water

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I have witnessed some Muslim brethren offering Zam Zam Water to non Muslims after they return from Hajj or at other times at weddings. Is this allowed?

Bismillaah

A: If the kaafir regards the zam zam as a thing of blessing and he will not show any disrespect to it, it will be permissible to give him the zam zam to drink. However if other water is available, one should rather give him that water to drink instead of zam zam.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
