Salaah of a person who does not have an index finger

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I don’t have a right hand index finger the one we raise in Salaah. Does this mean anything in Islam?

Bismillaah

A: This is not counted as a deficiency in the sight of Allah Ta`ala. Your acts of ibaadat and worship will be exactly like a normal person. It will not be any less in the sight of Allah Ta`ala on account of not having an index finger and not indicating with any finger.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
