Virgin Beard: To Shave or Not to Shave on Your Wedding Night?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Does it benefit me having a virgin beard on my first night with my wife?

Bismillaah

A: It is compulsory for a male to grow a beard. Shaving the beard or cutting or trimming it before it reaches the length of one fist is haraam and a major sin. When keeping the beard is the command of Allah Ta’ala and is compulsory, one will receive immense barakah throughout his life, not only on the night of his marriage.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
