Making salaam to non-mahrams

Answered by

Q: I know that interacting with a non-mahram without any reason is not allowed. But I want to ask that when I was a child I used to make salaam to my neighbouring aunties, but now I’m 18 and I feel hesitant doing so. What should I do? Guide me.

Bismillaah

A: If they are not your mahrams then don’t greet them.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
