Difficulty in washing one’s feet during wudhu

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: My father is elderly and has difficulty lifting his feet to the sink when performing wudhu. Is it permissible for him to wash them by placing them in a bowl of water?

Bismillaah

A: He should pass the water over his leg and rub his feet.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
