Q: I was sent a message on social media claiming a hadith that says a person who fasts on the first ten days of Muharram will be granted paradise. Please advise the authenticity as I have not heard of these specific dates and am only aware that one should specifically try and fast on the 9th and 10th or 10th and 11th of Muharram.
A: We have not come across this. If you wish you may provide us the source of the Hadith so that we may be able to verify it for you.
