Name Jibreel

This is more out of curiosity than anything else, but I have never come across a person named “Jibreel”. Is this because it is not permissible to name a child ‘Jibreel’?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
It is permissible to name a child ‘Jibreel’. There are Muslims with that name.
And Allah knows best.
