Abdul Basit
Abdul Muheeb
Abdul Hadi
Mohammad Bilal
Mohammad Ali
Answer:
“Mahd” (مَهْدٍ)is a suitable Arabic name. It means the guided one. “Mahd” is the same as “Mahdi”. Some people claim that “Mahd” was a name of the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). However, we could not find a mention of it in the books of hadith.
Abdul Baasit (عبد الباسط), Abdul Haadi (عبد الهادي), Muhammad Bilal (محمد بلال) and Muhammad Ali (محمد علي)are valid Islamic names. Abdul Muheeb is not correct. Abdul Mujeeb (عبد المجيب), however, is correct.
