Q. I am interested in a Halaal form of glucosamine chondrotin capsules. However, many of them on the local market contains bovine chondrotin which is not halaal. Are there any locally which I can purchase that is halaal? And if so what brand?
A. At present there are no halaal sources of chondrotin. A good substitute for chondrotin would be Bell’s Shark Cartillage.
A safe brand of joint care would be Seven Seas Glucosamine capsules.
