What is the ruling for one who offers salah with forearms and elbows exposed

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by DarulIftaBirmingham

What is the ruling for one who offers salah with forearms and elbows exposed? I heard khilaaf awlaa but then someone said makrooh?

 Answer:

Having your forearms exposed in salah is considered Makruh Tanzihi. (Nurul Idah p.166) Makruh Tanzihi and Khilaf Awla more or less mean the same thing.
