Wearing sehera on the day of marriage for man is necessary or unislamic?

Wearing sehra is an un-Islamic custom; therefore it is not allowed:
قال رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم: من تشبہ بقوم فھو منھم (رواہ احمد، ابو داؤد: مشکوہ ص 357)
