Mufti sahab AOA, i have 02 questions regarding zakat. 1) i have a plot which i took with the intention of selling and obtaining profit when its value will go high. Is there any zakat on this plot? or will i pay zakat once it will be sold? 2) i have a furnished property which i have rented out as office to one organization. Is there any zakat on this property or just on its rental amount. Please reply both questions separetly. Thank you.

(Fatwa: 521/374/D=1431)
(1) Yes, it is wajib to pay zakah of its present value each year.
(2) If the amount of rent is deposited with you then zakah shall be wajib on the total amount after passing of one year.
