Q3) Does smoking cigarettes invalidate wudu, and if so, does the person need to perform wudu again before prayer?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
If a person is in wuzu and smokes cigratte, does he have to do wazu again.Eg:if a person offers asar namaz and after namaz he smokes ,does his wazu remain, can he offer magrib namaz with the same wazu or he has to do wazu?

Answer

(Fatwa: 382/301/B=1431)

Smoking cigarette does not break wudhu. If his wudhu did not break between Asr and Maghrib salah he can pray Maghrib salah with that wudhu. Due to smoking cigarette, performing wudhu is not wajib.
