I would like to ask you that can a person use camera or video supported mobile phones? And can takes photoes from that? Can do video from that? Because in our country most of our ulamas and others are involved of that. Please explain me in detail. Jazakallah
Answer:
(Fatwa: 1157/B=1335/B)Mobile phone is basically meant for communication; therefore it is permissible to use it. But, since the making picture of living being and its photography is not allowed in Islam; therefore it will be not allowed to use it for making pictures of living being or making video film.
