If my husband’s earning is low and we are “unable” to give Zakah or pay rent regularly or give Sadaqah whole heartedly, can I operate a business from home and say to him that we will share the earnings. Is this right?

You can start a business at home. It is not prohibited for women to operate business if they maintain Shariah limits.
