I am a boy of 20 years; can I give tuition to a 12 year old girl as she is a non-mahram?

Answer

(Fatwa: 434/387/D=1433)

A girl develops sexual attraction after 9 years. One should avoid meeting a girl of this age in privacy. Also it is not lawful to meet in privacy to any adult or adolescent girl and give her tuition face to face. Yes, if there is some mahram then it is allowable with purdah.
