Is it okay for kids to play with toys that have pictures?

1. Is it allowed for children to play with toys which have pictures or are in the shape of fairy tale characters(like dolls)? 2. Is it allowed to watch cricket on TV? 3. Is reading the newspaper allowed? there are mostly photographs of politicians and other famous personalities in it. 4. Is it allowed to watch religious discourses on TV by male clerics?

Answer

(Fatwa: 934/610/H=1432)

(1) It is not lawful
(2) It is unlawful.
(3) It is allowable if one reads it while ignoring the unlawful pictures as much as possible.
(4) What do you mean by “to watch religious discourses on TV by male clerics”? Write it clearly.
