Permissibility of wearing Taveez during pregnancy and delivery?

During pregnancy and during the delivery of baby, some women wear taveez around her ear and also tie taveez around her arm. The taveez is made of some Quranic Verses. My question is,if it is O.K from islamic and deeni point of view to wear such taveez. Please do answer my question. Jazakallah

As per Shariah, there is no wrong in it.
