Iis it permissible to perform wuzu in washbasin while standing? What one should do to have barkah in one’s house.

(Fatwa: 860/860=J)
(1) Yes, it is allowed to make wuzu standing in washbasin avoiding splash of used water.
(2) Barakah can be achieved with such acts that cause barakah. Salam (greeting) is one these acts. Hazrat Anas (Raziallahu Anhu) narrates that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: O my son! When you enter your home, greet your family with salam; this will cause barakah for you. (Mishkat: 399)
