Bismillah… As Salaam Mu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah, What are the requirements of the person delivering the sermon of the jummah khutbah…i.e how much arabic does he recite what does this arabic have to come from…Hafith..Quran??? Please provide the daleels Jazak0kumullahu Khairaa… Was Salaam.

(Fatwa: 1310/1310=M/1430)
Both the khutbahs should be in Arabic. They should preferably contain Quranic verses and hadith. They should also contain praise of Allah, His gratefulness, tawhid (His oneness), prophethood, salutations to the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم), sermonizing and supplications.
