Assalaamualaykum Q)Because of this hadeeth will it be 1-makrooh e tanzeehi or 2- makrooh e tahreemi to fold trousers clothes etc and could you provide reference of the hadeeth.Jazakallah Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihe Wasslam said:” I was ordered that not to fold hair and cloth (In Namaz)” ted in Darr-e-Mukhtar with Shami Part one page 473. art one, Page 137)

(Fatwa: 1240/1146=L/1429)
It is makrooh-e-tahrimi to fold and play with clothes etc during salah:
وکرہ لفہ ای رفعہ ?و عبثہ بثوبہ، وفی الشامی: وھی کراھۃ تحریم کما فی البحر (در مختار مع شامی 2:406)
The abovementioned Hadith has been narrated by Bukhari:
عن ابن عباس عن النبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قال: امرنا ان نسجد علی سبعۃ اعظم و لا نکف شعراً و لا ثوباً(صحیح البخاری 1:112، باب السجود لعی سبعۃ اعظم، رقم الحدیث: 809-811)
