my question is what is the tareef of maqami when we r talking about moon sighting dose it mean ure country city state? n our imam sahab has a siecntific data from that he could see the moon if it is possible so should we follow him our we go by other citys i mean is it allow if we see amoon in any were in america so we r going to do eid or we should see it in are city jazakallah

There are detailed and lengthy discussions about proof of moon-sighting which may lengthen if presented shortly as well. As far as the reply of your question is concerned, you should adhere by what is announced by the local ulama and muftis about moon. We are not aware of the scientific data and the way of its moon-sighting.
