If the wudhu is fresh and not broken, is it mandatory to perform it again?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Is there any compulsion to do wudhu if we have already wudhu. For example, for the salah of Asr I do wudhu then for the Maghrib salah I have to do again? It is compulsory if my wudhu is not broken.

If someone already has wudhu then it is not necessary for him to make fresh wudhu for salah, he may offer his salah with his previous wudhu. However, if he makes fresh wudhu for salah then it is mustahab as usually the Holy Prophet Muhammad, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to make new wudhu for each salah, but he offered all the salahs with single wudhu on the day when Makkah was conquered.
