My relative in Hyderabad bought a flat to live in from the money they got from his father’s property. Now he has no job or source of income, they are even struggling for daily food. Is it permissible in Islam to help them payoff the final installment house debt through zakah? The wife has 10 tolas of gold which she got in marriage from her family. Other than that they have no assets. Their condition is not so good nowadays.

In the above mentioned case, if your friend is not sahib-e-nisab i.e. zakah is not wajib on him, then in present situation you may give him your zakah money.
