How to write “MD Arif/Mohammad Arif” properly and suggest a meaningful title?

(1) My name is Arif and I write my name some time MD Arif & some time Mohammad Arif. (2) Please suggest me the meaning of Arif. What is proper way of writing MD Arif/Mohammad Arif or any other way? (3) Also suggest me a good title with a good meaning.

(Fatwa; 1376/1049/H=10/1434)

(1) You should write complete name i.e. Muhammad Aarif.
(2) Aarif means: one who recognizes, and in Islamic terminology it means one who has got the cognizance of Allah and acts upon Shariah in all matters and had high morals.
(3) You can take ‘Hassan’ as your title.
