I had a dream 6-8 months ago wherein I saw that I was guided by a man through the stairs of a building and once we reached the terrace I saw minarets of mosques in different colours and when I looked at my right hand side I saw the green dome of the Prophet’s mosque. What does this dream interpret?

The dream means that you are more attached to this world and lagging behind in khushu and khuzu in your prayers. You should be punctual in following sunnah and the Shariah in each and every affair. There is a small book “Ummul Amraz” by Hadhrat Maulana Muhammad Zakaria RA, study it thoroughly.
