Is it permissible to appoint a female as an executor in your will?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible for one to appoint a female as the executor in your will.[1]
