Are muslims allowed to keep fish tanks in the house?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible for one to keep fish tanks as long as the fish are adequately taken care of.[1]
