In Haram-e-Makkah, one Hasanah (good deeds) is equal to one lakh Hasanahs. Is this limited to Ka’ba or all the hudood of Haram?

I have heard that in Haram-e-Makkah, one Hasanah (good deeds) is equal to one lakh (100,000) Hasanahs and one sin is also equal to one lack. The question is that, is this limited to the mosque of Kābah or the entire Hudood-e-Haram. If this is for the entire Hudood-e-Haram, do the people who live about a mile away receive the same amount of Hasanah or sins (since they are inside the Hudood-e-Haram)? I wanted to know whether all the actions performed in Hudood-e-Haram are equivalent to those that are performed elsewhere or, are they equal to those that are performed in the Masid-e-Haram?

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Indeed it is a blessing if one receives an opportunity to perform Salāh in Masjid Al-Harām since Rasullullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam has said, “Performing Salāh in my Masjid is 1,000 times greater than that Salāh which has been performed elsewhere except for Masjid Al-Harām (Makkah). And the Salāh which has been performed in Masjid Al-Harām is 100,000 times greater than that Salāh which has been performed elsewhere.”[1]

It has been mentioned in Hāshiya Irshād As-Sārī Ila Manāsik Al-Mulla Ali Qāri that the multiplication of good or bad deeds would apply to the complete Haram boundaries (not just the Masjid) Thus, their rewards and sins will be multiplied causing anyone who lives within this boundary to receive  immense rewards or sins for their actions.[2]

صُرِّحَ بِهِ فِي خَبَرِ أَحْمَدَ، وَالْبَزَّارِ. وَصَحِيحِ ابْنِ حِبَّانَ، مِنْ حَدِيثِ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ( «صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِي غَيْرِهِ مِنَ الْمَسَاجِدِ إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ، وَصَلَاةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَفْضَلُ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا بِمِائَةِ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ» ) . وَإِسْنَادُهُ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ.

 فَقَدِ اخْتَلَفَ أَهْلُ التَّأْوِيلِ فِي الْمُرَادِ بِقَوْلِهِ هُنَا الْمَسْجِدُ الْحَرَامُ هَلْ هُوَ الْحَرَمُ كُلُّهُ أَوْ مَكَانُ الصَّلَاةِ فَقَطْ وَاخْتَلَفُوا أَيْضًا هَلِ الْمُرَادُ بِقَوْلِهِ سَوَاءً فِي الْأَمْنِ وَالِاحْتِرَامِ أَوْ فِيمَا هُوَ أَعَمُّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَبِوَاسِطَةِ ذَلِكَ نَشَأَ الِاخْتِلَافُ الْمَذْكُورُ أَيْضًا قَالَ بن خُزَيْمَةَ لَوْ كَانَ الْمُرَادُ بِقَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى سَوَاءً العاكف فِيهِ والباد جَمِيعَ الْحَرَمِ وَأَنَّ اسْمَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَاقِعٌ عَلَى جَمِيعِ الْحَرَمِ لَمَا جَازَ حَفْرُ بِئْرٍ وَلَا قَبْرٍ وَلَا التَّغَوُّطُ وَلَا الْبَوْلُ وَلَا إِلْقَاءُ الْجِيَفِ وَالنَّتْنِ قَالَ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ عَالِمًا مَنَعَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَلَا كَرِهَ لِحَائِضٍ وَلَا لِجُنُبٍ دُخُولَ الْحَرَمِ وَلَا الْجِمَاعَ فِيهِ وَلَوْ كَانَ كَذَلِكَ لَجَازَ الِاعْتِكَافُ فِي دُورِ مَكَّةَ وَحَوَانِيتِهَا وَلَا يَقُولُ بِذَلِكَ أَحَدٌ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ

لما روي من ان الحسنة فيها تضاعف الي مائة الف وان السيئة كذالك. وهذا علي تقدير صحة هذه الروايات انها تضاعف بالكمية .والا فلا شبهة ان السيئة تضاعف في حرم الله تعالي باعتبار الكيفية.واجاب الاولون بان ما يخاف من سيئته فيقابل ما يرجي من حسنته.
