I have the Nissab but I didn?t send money yet ? Is it possible to ask a person to pay Zakat for me (in my name) and I?ll pay back that person later ? reason for that is I?m working abroad and I?m afraid my money will not get there in time Jazak Allah
Answer:
It is permissible to appoint and request another person to pay Zakaat on behalf of you. The Zakaat will be discharged.
