Answer

The greatest bounty of Allah Ta’ala upon us is the correct faith and
religion – Islam. It is a complete and comprehensive way of life. It is a
means of one’s peace and tranquility, if adhered to.

The beauty of Islam may be well understood by studying it and comparing it
with other religions and ideologies. In brief, Islam is an easy and
practical way of life. It is a means of one’s salvation in this world and
the hereafter. Surely, death is a reality and is also imminent.

Reverting to your question of being a Muslim, yes, you are a Muslim and you
are fulfilling an important injunction of covering yourself. You should
progress by practicing on the basic tenets of Islam. Among them, one is
performing your five daily Salaats. You should build courage and make a
steady and gradual progress on practicing Islam.
