Assalam walaikum! i want to ask that i know a guy who is aga khani/ismaili but believes in ONE ALLAH and PROPHET (PBUH) and he is willling to convert to sunnism and wants to marry me, he said his children will also follow the sunnism in future. If he converts the marriage is permissiable or not?

As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh
Aga-Khanis, is a sect of the Isma’ili Shias.[1] Ismailies are not Muslims.[2]
If the person in reference who wishes to marry you, he must denounce the Aga-Khani beliefs and become a Muslim, then you may marry him.
The person should have the following basic beliefs of Islam:
1. Tawheed – Belief in the Oneness of Allah.
2. Risalat – Belief that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is the last prophet.
3. Quran – Belief that the Quran is the final book of divine guidance sent from Allah to Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) through Jibril (Alaihis Salam) over a period of 23 years.
4. Life after death – Belief in life after death, that on the Day of Judgment this entire universe will come to an end. Thereafter, the dead will be resurrected and their deeds will be taken into account.
5. Heaven (Jannah) and Hell (Jahannam) – Belief in Heaven and Hell, that people with proper Imaan will enter Jannah and disbelievers like (Isma’ili Shias) will go to Jahannam.
If the person denounces Aga-Khani beliefs and he accepts the above beliefs of a Muslim and recites the Shahadah, then he is a Muslim. You may marry him.

قال الله تعالى: {ولا تنكحوا المشركات حتى يؤمن}، وهو عموم في حظر الجميع
بدائع الصنائع في ترتيب الشرائع (2/ 270)
والفرق أن الأصل أن لا يجوز للمسلم أن ينكح الكافرة؛ لأن ازدواج الكافرة والمخالطة معها مع قيام العداوة الدينية لا يحصل السكن والمودة الذي هو قوام مقاصد النكاح إلا أنه جوز نكاح الكتابية؛ لرجاء إسلامها؛ لأنها آمنت بكتب الأنبياء والرسل في الجملة، وإنما نقضت الجملة بالتفصيل بناء على أنها أخبرت عن الأمر على خلاف حقيقته، فالظاهر أنها متى نبهت على حقيقة الأمر تنبهت، وتأتي بالإيمان على التفصيل على حسب ما كانت أتت به على الجملة هذا هو الظاهر من حال التي بني أمرها على الدليل دون الهوى والطبع، والزوج يدعوها إلى الإسلام وينبهها على حقيقة الأمر فكان في نكاح المسلم إياها رجاء إسلامها فجوز نكاحها لهذه العاقبة الحميدة بخلاف المشركة، فإنها في اختيارها الشرك ما ثبت أمرها على الحجة بل على التقليد بوجود الإباء عن ذلك من غير أن ينتهي ذلك الخبر ممن يجب قبول قوله واتباعه – وهو الرسول – فالظاهر أنها لا تنظر في الحجة ولا تلتفت إليها عند الدعوة فيبقى ازدواج الكافر مع قيام العداوة الدينية المانعة عن السكن والازدواج والمودة خاليا عن العاقبة الحميدة فلم يجز إنكاحها

- اسماعیلی فرقہ کے عقائد مندرجہ ذیل ہیں:
- اللہ سبحانہ وتعالی کو صفات سے خالی مانتے ہیں۔
- یہ لوگ عقل اول کا عقیدہ رکھتے ہیں کہ اللہ نے ایک مخلوق پیدا کی پھر اس سے تمام مخلوق پیدا ہوئی، نیز یہعقل اول اللہ تعالی کی صفات کی حامل ہے،
- معجزات کو باطل سمجھتے ہیں۔
- ختم نبوت کا انکار کرتے ہیںاور محمد بن اسماعیل کو آخری نبی مانتے ہیں۔
- اولیاء کی اطاعت انکے نزدیک فرض ہے، فطاعتہ اللہ مقترنۃ بطاعتھم۔
- انکے ائمہ اللہ تعالی کے نور سے ہیں اور انکے اجسام عام انسانوں کے اجسام کی طرح نہیں ہے۔
- صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم سے بغض رکھتے ہیں خصوصا حضرات شیخین سے۔
- جنت کی لذتیں اور جہنم کا عذاب انکے نزدیک معنوی ہے حسی نہیں۔
- یہ لوگ تاویلات بہت کرتے ہیں حتی کہ یہ کہتے ہیں کہ قرآن کریم کی ہر آیت کا ایک باطنی معنی ہے اگرچہآیت صریح کیوں نہ ہو۔
- قیامت کا انکار کرتے ہیں اور تناسخ کا عقیدہ رکھتے ہیں۔
مذکورہ بالا عقائد جس فرقہ میں ہو اس کو مسلمان نہیں کہسکتے اسلۓ کہ یہ عقائد دائرہ اسلام سے خارجکرن
ے والے ہیں۔
(2/ 264) الفتاوى الهندية دار الفكر
الرافضي إذا كان يسب الشيخين ويلعنهما والعياذ بالله ، فهو كافر ، وإن كان يفضل عليا كرم الله تعالى وجهه على أبي بكر رضي الله تعالى عنه لا يكون كافرا إلا أنه مبتدع والمعتزلي مبتدع إلا إذا قال باستحالة الرؤية ، فحينئذ هو كافر كذا في الخلاصة.
1. The Aga Khan has officially Declared himself, before his followers, as the “Mazhar of Allah on earth”. The word “mazhar” means “copy” or “manifest”. Consequently, these Ismailis who call themselves Muslims do “sujood” before him. So even the primary axiomatic principle of Tawheed is being fundamentally and formally violated by them.
2. The Aga-Khanis have hatred for the Sahabah (Radhiallahu’anhum), specifically Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu’anhu) and Umar (Radhiallahu’anhu).
3. The Aga-Khanis believe the final prophet is Muhammad Ismail, instead of Nabi Muhammad (Sallā llāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam).
4. The Ismailis (followers of the Aga Khan) all professedly believe that the Qur’an was time bound and was not meant to be a Universal message for all times. They believe that their spiritual leader, Karim Aga Khan, is the “walking – talking Qur’an” and his “religious pronouncements”, whatever they may be, are the “guidance” for the present times. The fundamental article of faith that there will not be any NEW revelations or “wahy” after the Qur’an, is being completely violated by the Ismailis.
