As Salamu Alaykum, could you please tell me if it is permissible for my step children to call me buba meaning farther? Jazakullahu Khairun

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
The stepchildren may call the stepfather baba out of respect and not regarding him as their biological father.
