What happens if you get dog excrement on your shoes and you walk into your house?

The dog excrement was fairly dry but i walked into my house and noticed it later. I was unsure what to do because later i walked with socks on close to where i walked with my shoes. Were my socks then impure?

Answer:

If the excreta of the dog was dry and did not soil the socks, then the socks will not be impure.
