Assalamu Alaikum, I am a sunni muslim, and I am going to be married within next month inshallah, my future in laws are objecting regarding the wedding date as because , to them the 24th of MAY is not a good day to get married, they are saying that moon is not right at that time and might effect in future and we might have unhappy married life, if we get married at that day (24th of MAY). My question is ,”what does moon has to do with me being not have a happy married life, if i get married on 24TH of MAY? Would you please help me with this so that I could ask my parents to discuss about this matter with my future in-laws. Assalamu alaikum, Jazakallah khair
The size and age of the moon has no bearing on a person’s success and otherwise in marriage. Such a belief is inconsistent with Islamic beliefs.
