Can women wear mascara? I’m confused as some people say that mascara is haram but some say it is like a normal cosmetic product as in wearing eyeshadow. Is mascara not haram to apply?

Answer

It is permissible for a female to beautify herself with Mascara. However, she should not expose her beauty to Ghayr Mahaarim (not prohibited in
marriages) males.
