Some software programs can detect and capture all pages reviewed in a session on the Internet. Is it possible for me to use such program in order to know what my daughter is doing through her navigation and chatting in the Internet or this is still categorized as spying which is prohibited in Islam. (Wala tajassasou.)
Answer
It is compulsory upon parents to monitor their children’s use of the
internet. Therefore, they may install a spying softwear to capture the
programmes viewed by their children.
