1.Aleena 2.Aaira or Aairah or Ayra 3.Amra 4.Ajradah 5.Aabish

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

We do not understand how you got the letter Alif when you opened the Quran. In any event, the practice of opening the Quran and naming the child with the letter upon which ones sight falls on has no merit in Shari’at.[1]

Furthermore, the Letter “A” does not represent Alif (ا) in Arabic. At most, “A” transcribes the pronunciation of Alif (ا) as “A”.

The names you enquire about do not commence with Alif (ا), rather they commence with Ayn (ع).

  • Aleena means to be apparent.[2]
  • , Amrah[3] is a suitable name. It is the name of a Tabi’ah.
